Obotz

Your child builds real robots — motor circuits, sensors, gears, and code — while learning the engineering and computational thinking that today's STEM jobs demand. Each class ends with a working machine they made themselves.

What your child gains

Skills that show up everywhere

  • Confidence with technology and electronics
  • Logical, step-by-step problem-solving
  • Hands-on understanding of physics and motion
  • Introduction to block-based and text coding
  • Teamwork through paired build projects
  • Persistence — kids learn debugging is just part of building

The curriculum

A clear path, level by level

  1. Junior

    First builds

Simple machines, levers, gears, and the language of how things move. Younger kids start here and build up confidence with tools.

  2. Level 1–4

    Mechanisms & motors

Battery-powered builds, structural balance, and an introduction to sensors. Each level adds new components and complexity.

  3. Level 5–8

    Programmable robotics

Block-based programming connected to motors and sensors. Students design behaviors and run challenges.

  4. Level 9–12

    Advanced engineering

Real coding (text-based), microcontrollers, and project-based work where students design and pitch their own robots.

Common questions

Parent FAQ

Do we need to buy our own kit?+

Kits and materials are included with the program. Your child works with their kit during class and we keep them stocked with new components as they level up.

Is prior experience required?+

None at all. We start every student at the right level after a quick placement chat. Total beginners are very welcome.

How often do classes meet?+

Once per week, typically 60–90 minutes depending on age group.

Will my child actually learn to code?+

Yes. Obotz progresses from block-based coding (visual) into real text-based programming by the upper levels.
