The curriculum
A clear path, level by level
- Basic
Meet the abacus
Children learn to read the abacus, perform addition and subtraction with finger movements, and build the foundation for mental visualization.
- Level 1–4
Speed and complexity
Two-digit and three-digit arithmetic, then multiplication and division on the abacus, with progressively faster timed drills.
- Level 5–8
Mental visualization
Students transition off the physical abacus and start solving entirely in their head using the mental image. This is where the magic happens.
- Grand Levels
Mastery & competitions
Advanced multi-operation problems at high speed. Students who choose to may compete in regional and international UCMAS competitions.
